Raise money
Here’s what I’d like Pelosi and Obama to suggest starting in January.
A monument on the national mall dedicated to all the wealthy folks who saved the financial crisis.
The pitch would be something like “Dear freedom fan, we don’t want to take away your money, have no intention of seizing assets, but, uh, we’re really in need of cash, fast. How about you give us some of that stash. Do you really want another yacht when you could be remembered forever as a hero?”
Then list people in order of donations made, on a giant sculpture. They’d have to give a lot for it to make a dent, but there’s a few billionaires around.
