Goodbye California…
Hello DC.
Man, is it cold here.
I sat on two flights next to the same people flying from SFO to DC with the same itinerary and seat assignments as me. Two eight year old girls, one with her two dads, and the other with her mom. All heading to inauguration. One of the girls had a plush donkey with the stars and stripes top hat. They asked me immediately if I was going to see Obama. I said yes. They giggled to each other and jacked into their iPod.
The flight from houston was a bit weird with several TSA agents hovering around the gate and random passenger inspections before boarding the plane. Haven’t seen that action in over a year. Supposedly there were 2 air marshalls on our flight too.
Yay Obama. Whoa security.
